EASTER HOLIDAYS

Note:  the Tech Desk will be closed Friday 3rd to Monday 6th April 

Opening hours over the Easter period are 9.15am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and  9.15am to 3pm on Friday 10th 

Normal opening hours will resume from Monday 13th April

Door access control has been implemented for our Headingley labs. You will need your student card for access. 

Policies

No ID card = No equipment

EQUIPMENT BOOKINGS
If you are borrowing any equipment, you must read the BEEC Equipment Loan Risk Assessment and ensure your activity is covered by the hazards and control measures of this document. Should you wish to do an activity involving potential hazards not covered by this document, please seek further guidance from your tutor / learning support team.

EQUIPMENT COLLECTION
Equipment must be collected by the agreed date and time of your online booking. Any equipment booking not collected from the specified time will be cancelled, and the equipment made available for others to book.
Please check your equipment upon collection and report any missing items to a member of staff.

RETURNS
Equipment must be returned by the agreed date and time of your online booking. Equipment is only checked in once it has been fully inspected. Equipment can always be returned on your behalf by another person.

MEDIA
It is the users' responsibility to format equipment memory prior to and after use. The support desk cannot be held liable for any loss of data on either external or internal storage media of equipment issued.

LATE RETURNS
Please contact us immediately should you not be able to make your allocated time slot.
A late return without communication will result in an equipment booking ban. Any existing bookings belonging to the banned user that have been made during the ban period will be deleted to release the resources for other users to book.
